There were a lot of fears surrounding the health of Drew McIntyre today when he apparently got injured in the dark match following SmackDown. Now, a report has shed clarity on the situation.

McIntyre faced Jey Uso after SmackDown in a dark match, which he lost. However, during the match, he appeared to injure his knee.

As per an exclusive report by Dr. Chris Featherstone from Sportskeeda, the latest injury scare surrounding Drew McIntyre may not be as serious as fans first feared. The former WWE Champion seems to have been selling it for the crowd.

Heading into Bad Blood for his Hell in a Cell match against CM Punk, there were some fears that McIntyre's injury in the dark match after SmackDown might have affected his future bouts.

However, as per sources close to Dr. Chris Featherstone, McIntyre is not expected to miss out on any time after all. He will not be missing out on any matches and is expected to head into Bad Blood for his Hell in a Cell match against Punk as had been originally planned.
