A big match has been set for next week's episode of WWE RAW. It was announced on the latest episode of the red brand that Seth Rollins will take on his longtime rival Drew McIntyre in a singles match.
The two stars collided in the opening match for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XL Night Two. The Scottish Warrior defeated The Visionary to capture the title. However, he lost it a few minutes later to Damian Priest, who cashed in his Money in the Bank contract.
On RAW this week, CM Punk kicked off the show but was interrupted by Seth Rollins. The Second City Saint defeated Rollins last week in the main event of the show. However, the two stars were confronted by Drew McIntyre, someone who they both have a history with. Seth and Punk announced that they were going to be in the Royal Rumble match, and McIntyre told them that he'd see them there.
During a backstage interview with Cathy Kelley, Seth Rollins was informed that he would face Drew McIntyre on the January 20 episode of WWE RAW. This will undoubtedly be an interesting match.
It remains to be seen whether Seth Rollins will move in a new direction or if this match will somehow tie in with the CM Punk feud.
