Cody Rhodes has held the Undisputed WWE Championship since beating Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. Meanwhile, WWE analyst Sam Roberts recently claimed a top SmackDown star could easily dethrone The American Nightmare.
Over the past few months, Randy Orton has seemingly been eying Rhodes' title. On his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Roberts suggested a scenario in which The American Nightmare could get betrayed by a returning Randy Orton. Notably, The Apex Predator is currently out of action after suffering an injury at the hands of Kevin Owens. He claimed it could kick off the anticipated feud between The Viper and the 39-year-old.
The 41-year-old analyst claimed Orton could easily be the one to end Rhodes' Undisputed WWE Championship reign.
"Randy Orton could easily beat Cody Rhodes for the championship. This could start Cody trying to get his title back from Randy. This could have Cody move on to something else, while [Randy] moves on to Kevin Owens," he said. [43:58-44:09]

WWE legend thinks Solo Sikoa can dethrone Cody Rhodes
After pinning Cody Rhodes in a six-man tag team match at Money in the Bank, Solo Sikoa challenged The American Nightmare twice for the Undisputed WWE Championship. However, he came up short in both instances.
Nevertheless, Hall of Famer Rikishi recently suggested his son could be the one to end Rhodes' title reign after pinning Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel.
Speaking on the latest edition of Rikishi Fatu Off The Top, the veteran said:
"Well, after this one, two, three on Roman, I almost kinda, you know, I can see maybe Solo be the one to take it off Cody. Because I talked about maybe Roman will come back and take it off of Cody, you know, but after seeing that, you beat the GOAT. You beat the GOAT, and I believe it was two Spikes, two or three, whatever it was, right? But you know, now it's like, 'Okay, you beat the GOAT; now you're considered the GOAT!'"
Rhodes recently surpassed 200 days as champion. It will be interesting to see how long he holds on to the title.
