Cody Rhodes called out Kevin Owens on SmackDown following the assault on Randy Orton last week, but it was General Manager Nick Aldis who came out instead. In an interesting segment, a big tease was made and a warning was issued.
Nick Aldis said that the Kevin Owens situation was being handled backstage and that Cody won't be able to see him until it's sorted out. Cody scoffed at the idea of Owens even being hit in the wallet seeing as he owns a Lamborghini. He urged Aldis to unsuspend him and let him take care of business.
One particular line was interesting during the verbal exchange, as Cody Rhodes mentioned Aldis being a "former wrestler" before correcting himself and saying that he's still a wrestler - a role that many expect him to return to.

In the end, Cody Rhodes made it clear that Aldis couldn't hold Kevin Owens back for long and issued a warning to the General Manager about his intentions.
On the part of the SmackDown GM, it was about concern for talent. He stated that there's a reason why the Piledriver has been banned for so long - WWE doesn't want wrestlers to end up in wheelchairs.
The opening segment just provided a great start to the November 15 episode of SmackDown.
