WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce has suspended a top superstar after an unfortunate incident following Money in the Bank. A wrestling veteran now suggests that superstar should go away for a while.
The wrestler in question is Drew McIntyre. The Scottish Warrior won the 2024 Men's Money in the Bank contract before cashing it in later that night. However, CM Punk interfered to cost him the World Heavyweight Championship. After the show, McIntyre had an unpleasant altercation with RAW General Manager Adam Pearce, which led to the GM suspending him indefinitely. On the Busted Open podcast, wrestling veteran Tommy Dreamer suggested that McIntyre take an extended break.
The ECW legend claimed The Scottish Warrior should go away to remind fans of his importance when he returns:
"I don't wanna see Drew McIntyre for a bit. I want him to go away so I'm reminded how important he is once he comes back," he said. [From 45:17 to 45:24]

Tommy Dreamer wants CM Punk to fight Seth Rollins at WWE SummerSlam
On the same episode of the Busted Open podcast, Tommy Dreamer suggested that CM Punk should square off against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam and not Drew McIntyre. He claimed The Visionary vs. The Best in the World would be a "money match."
However, he proposed that The Scottish Warrior interferes to cost Punk the match against Rollins:
"If I could, I would. I would go with Punk and Rollins. It's a great match-up. I'd have Drew scr*w over Punk at SummerSlam," he said.
Rollins and Punk were supposed to fight at WrestleMania XL before the latter got injured. Last Monday, the two had a heated confrontation on RAW after The Best in the World interfered in the World Heavyweight Championship Triple-Threat Match at Money in the Bank, which led to Damian Priest retaining his title and The Visionary losing his chance to regain the belt. It would be interesting to see if WWE would book the two superstars to square off at The Biggest Party of the Summer in three weeks.
