Hulk Hogan faces major accusation from WWE legend for huge controversy

Hulk Hogan has been in the headlines again recently after the star made a few public appearances. However, he's now been accused by a WWE legend about his past actions.

Hogan has been in the news following his appearance at the Republican National Convention. He gave a speech there and tore his shirt open in typical Hulkster fashion. However, he's not quite as popular with all sections, with several WWE legends having issues with him, including none other than former Minnesota Governor, Jesse Ventura.

Ventura spoke on MSNBC recently about Hogan's appearance at the RNC, and he called him out with a major accusation. He said that Hogan was the one behind breaking the unionization attempt by him when Jesse was still in WWE. He went on to accuse him of being the reason he lost his job.

There is still no wrestling union in WWE or elsewhere, something that remains controversial to this date and has been called out by senior US political figures in the past.

"As far as Hogan goes, it doesn't surprise me. Because when I was in wrestling in the 80s, I tried to unionize wrestling and it was Hulk Hogan who cut my legs off from under me. Hulk Hogan went to Vince McMahon, ratted me out, and later on, cost me my job. So it doesn't surprise me to see Hogan with the Republicans, because Hogan's as anti-union as you can get. There's still not a union in professional wrestling."

Hulk Hogan named three current WWE stars he'd like to face

Hogan may no longer be a part of WWE, but he's still following the product. The star spoke about three current WWE stars that he would like to face.

He said that he would like to face several stars. He mentioned Roman Reigns first and even had ideas on how he could elevate a babyface Reigns if he had the opportunity.

"Oh my gosh, there's a bunch of them. But if I really could jump in the ring with somebody today, if Roman Reigns was a babyface, I think Hollywood Hogan [Hogan's WCW heel character] could get him over." [5:11 – 5:26]

Hogan also went on to mention Seth Rollins and CM Punk as the two other stars that he would like to face.
