He has not been seen on WWE TV for a long time, but Hulk Hogan could be back at Saturday Night's Main Event, according to Vince Russo. World Wrestling Entertainment will present its first Saturday Night's Main Event since 2008, and as of this writing, the card will feature five matches, headlined by Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens battling for the undisputed world championship.
The event will also have Jesse Ventura returning to commentary for one night, adding to the star-studded lineup. During this week's episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Vince Russo revealed he felt Hulk Hogan would also appear at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14, 2024.
Hogan was one of the biggest reasons behind the success of Saturday Night's Main Event on NBC during his prime, as he was amongst the top draws that always got booked on the specials.
"I think he is going to appear at the event. I think him being there is good, but I don't think him not being there matters." [48:00 onwards]
Vince Russo donned his booker's hat for a minute and noted that he would have a confrontation between Hulk Hogan and Jesse 'The Body' Ventura if they were both at Saturday Night's Main Event.
Hogan infamously stopped Ventura's attempts to create a wrestler's union back in the day when the Hulkster allegedly snitched to then-boss Vince McMahon.
Decades have passed and Ventura still isn't open to burying the hatchet with Hogan. Had Russo been in charge, he would have wasted no time in letting The Body cut a scathing promo on Hogan:
"Bro, you really want to know? I would have Jesse call him out for stooging him off to Vince about the union. That's what I would do. Once and for all, Jesse is going to say something right to his face, 'I've never forgotten this and you're not going to deny this in front of me, that's what I would do.'" [48:44 onwards]
The chances of Hulk Hogan probably being at Saturday Night's Main Event 2024 are slim, as there is no word at all about it potentially happening. However, anything is possible in the WWE under Triple H, and fans should expect a few surprises.
