WWE legend Hulk Hogan's character was recently called into question after allegations about him being racist arose. However, a WCW veteran believes that the accusations are false as they are probably not based on facts.

Hulk Hogan's 'Real American Beer' brand recently let go of a social media influencer named Essence Jenai, replacing her with someone else. This led to Essence accusing Hogan of racism, something which the brand's spokesperson has denied considering that Hogan was not involved in making the decision.

On Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Outlaws, Vince Russo was asked about his opinion on the matter. According to him, the WWE Hall of Famer is probably not careless enough to make a mistake like that.

"We know a couple of years back Hogan had a big problem making some bad comments. Based on that, I just feel he would be super super sensitive about that happening again. One thing about Hogan is this is not a dumb guy by any stretch of the imagination. And if he made that big mistake that he paid years and years for, man I think he would really really think twice before making it again." [From 03:57 to 04:40]

EC3 had also commented on the accusations against the WWE legend

According to former WWE star EC3, the accusations are not quite reliable considering the source they are coming from.

On the same episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Outlaws, EC3 stated that based on his experience, company owners generally do not deal with their hirings directly.

"Influencers on social media are not gonna be your most honest source, and I am not saying she is right or she is wrong. But I will know as somebody who has endorsed some weird cr*p online, I never once talked to the owner and when they never hit me back to do another Instagram post or social media collab, I never once thought that the head of that company, the CEO perhaps or the face of it, went out of his way and said, 'Oh, get rid of that guy.' I figured it was just probably happenstance."

As of now, only time will tell how the controversy will be resolved in the coming weeks.
