A WWE legend has predicted that Cody Rhodes will soon change his gimmick. This will help him become a top star in the company.

Arn Anderson is the latest to comment on Cody Rhodes. After defeating Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40, Cody has become the new face of WWE. As the biggest star in the promotion, Cody also enjoys a massive fan base. The American Nightmare is known by his fans as a nice guy who always signs autographs and is friendly and courteous to everyone.

However, this has come at the cost of making him look weaker than his opponents. A good example of this is his current feud with Kevin Owens, in which he hasn't been aggressive despite the latter trying to end his career. It seems like the one thing missing from his arsenal is aggression.

During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Arn Anderson discussed what the American Nightmare needs to do to advance. He also revealed some advice he had given Cody Rhodes during their time together in AEW.

A former WWE writer just went after JBL for his comments HERE

"I had Cody teeter tottering when he was with AEW at the point of just adjusting his attitude a little bit, understanding that if you're going to go out there and tell the wrestling world and all the boys in every locker room your goal is to be the champion you're going to do whatever you have to to be the champion. Well, then you need to go out and do some things you're not used to doing."

Arn added that he was about to bring about this change in Cody Rhodes when the latter decided to leave AEW for WWE. Anderson still feels that for Cody to have an unbelievable run as WWE Champion, he will have to show a more aggressive side, even if it hurts some people's feelings.

"You have to one-up the aggression, and I had him right at that point, but he decided to make a choice and switch companies, and I still feel like the only way he's going to be able to stay at the top, if he truly wants to have one of those colossal unbelievable runs in this business, he's going to have to be more aggressive, more willing to do some things that might hurt some people's feelings or even scare somebody like, 'Oh my God, I never saw that side of him.' Well, that side of him is what is going to sustain him as a champion." [12:00 - 14:00]

Vince Russo believes Cody Rhodes' title reign should've ended at Saturday Night's Main Event

Cody Rhodes defended his Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens at Saturday Night's Main Event. The American Nightmare was the favorite headed into the match, and as everyone expected, he came out on top, although the finish was a bit controversial. However, a former WWE writer believes the belt should've changed hands.

During a recent interview with Hannibal TV, Vince Russo recalled how The Undertaker lost the WWE Championship six days after beating Hulk Hogan. He said that WWE should have booked Kevin Owens to win the match since nobody was expecting that outcome.

"Do you remember when The Undertaker upset Hulk Hogan, won the title, and then like immediately the WWE did Tuesday Night in Texas [This Tuesday in Texas]?" Russo said. "Remember that, bro? They did the special pay-per-view and they put the title back on Hogan. Bro, they should have freaking put the title on Saturday Night's Main Event on freaking Kevin Owens because, like you said, nobody thought Kevin Owens was gonna win the match."
