"I can't ask for a better crew" - Damian Priest opens up on career-changing advice from 3 WWE legends 

WWE Superstar Damian Priest recently discussed receiving career-changing advice from three of the biggest names in professional wrestling. The legends in question are The Undertaker, the late-great Scott Hall, and X-Pac.

Priest joined World Wrestling Entertainment in 2018 and started performing for the company's developmental brand, where he won the NXT North American Championship. After moving to the main roster in 2021, The Archer of Infamy made a huge name by winning several titles, including the United States, World Tag Team, and World Heavyweight championships.

The Punishment was also a part of The Judgment Day, which was split up into two factions after SummerSlam 2024.

The Stamford-based promotion's YouTube channel recently uploaded a snippet from Damian Priest's WWE 24 documentary, where he could be seen talking about his admiration for The Undertaker. Priest said The Phenom was his idol, and he was extremely grateful that his matches got critiqued by the legend during his time in NXT.

"'Don't meet your heroes.' I don't buy into that because every single one that I've met has treated me like gold. [The] Undertaker is my idol, so getting him to critique my matches was one of the coolest, most bada** things I've ever done in my life," he said. [0:10 - 0:23]

The Archer of Infamy also discussed how he asked the late legend Scott Hall whether he could use the Surfer Walk. Priest added that he still receives advice from X-Pac, who has been helping him for a long time.

"A lot of these guys that I looked up to are now people that I can confide in with, you know, looking for knowledge. Scott Hall was another one, getting to meet him, asking him permission if I could use a Surfer Walk. X-Pac is right there with them and I met him before I even worked in WWE, and he's been giving me advice for years. I can't ask for a better crew to surround myself with, for knowledge, advice, and all of it," he added. [0:45 - 1:11]

The Undertaker predicted a "nice run" for Damian Priest in WWE

In the same video, The Undertaker praised Damian Priest's agility despite being a big guy.

The Phenom added that he believed Priest could go on to have a great run in WWE if he worked on his 'psychology.'

"He has a presence about him. He can move around good for a big guy. This guy can pick up psychology, then he might have [a] pretty nice run," 'Taker said. [0:33 - 0:45]

It will be interesting to see what the Stamford-based promotion has planned for Damian Priest's future after he lost the World Heavyweight Championship to Gunther at SummerSlam 2024.
