Former WWE CEO Vince McMahon was recently accused in a new lawsuit, leading to much buzz in the wrestling world. A veteran who worked with him has also commented on the issue and given his insight into the allegations.
The new lawsuit is regarding the infamous Ring Boys scandal of 1992, where several names were accused of sexual misconduct with the Ring Boys crew. The current lawsuit is targeted towards Vince McMahon, Linda McMahon, and the TKO group and alleges that the defendants knew about these issues but willfully chose to ignore them.
While the incident is from more than three decades ago, wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell remembers hearing all about it at that time. On Sportskeeda's SmackTalk, the WWE veteran said he believes there is an element of truth in the matter.
"I'll say one thing. After hearing about it even back then, I have to say there's an element of a lot of truth in it. Because I believed it happened." [3:12 onwards]

Bill Apter also commented on the new lawsuit against the ex-WWE CEO
Like Dutch Mantell, legendary journalist Bill Apter was also present when it all happened. However, he has a different opinion on the matter.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, Apter said that he did not see much of the alleged happenings.
"I was there during that alleged time, but if anything like that was going on, it was well-concealed. And I don't think it was something. [...] Hypothetically, I don't think it was like you know, McMahon are tring to run a show here. I don't think it was a main thing at all on their radar." he added. [10:16 onwards]
