Indie wrestling sensation and former WWE star Vinny Pacifico recently spoke about teaming up with a legendary Samoan star during his career. He tagged with The Hurricane and Rosey back in 2016.
Vinny was at the Warriors of Wrestling Ultimate Survival 2016 show when he was put in a tag team with the Hurricane and Rosey. The trio defeated Chris Benne, J George, and Steve Scott in a tag team match.
This week on the UnSKripted podcast, Pacifico spoke with Dr. Chris Featherstone and Bill Apter. He mentioned it was a great opportunity for him to be tagging with WWE legends like Hurricane and Rosey just two years into the business. He noted that the two stars were genius wrestlers and helped him work through the match. The indie star praised the legends for easing him in and helping him grow as a performer.
"I had a match that day. I believe the person pulled off. I don't know what happened. They were like, 'Vinny, we're giving you the opportunity. Go out there and kill it with the Hurricane and Rosey.' Right there, I was dumbfounded. A year, two years in, like what? They were the most kindest, warmest people you could meet. They just wanted to help me grow and just teach me. It was such a cool opportunity because I got to be friends with them." [From 13:45 onwards]

The Samoan family continues to dominate the world of pro wrestling and WWE at large. Rosey's brother Roman Reigns is arguably the biggest star in the company while the rest of The Bloodline also occupies prominent spots on the card.
