Former WWE writer Vince Russo recently discussed the possibility of working under Triple H for the main roster or NXT. The wrestling veteran is often credited for WWE's commercial boom during the late 90s.
Russo made his name as part of the company's creative crew during the Attitude Era. He then went on to have a stint with WCW before the company closed. He was also part of the production team in TNA Wrestling.
This week on Writing with Russo, the former writer mentioned that the only way he would work for the Triple H regime was if he was broke and had no money to support his family.
"I would have to be broke. I would have to at a point where I could not pay my bills. I would have to be at that point."

Russo clarified that he would never be in a role where he had to be physically present backstage in WWE. He is, however, open to consulting the Triple H-led creative in a remote work-from-home arrangement.
"I've said a million times, I would consult right from here. You know why bro? Because right from here is not in that bubble. I'm not going anywhere near that bubble." He continued, "As long as I'm able to pay my bills, support me and my wife, live my very, very modest lifestyle, you'd never get me back in that world bro, never." [From 3:28 onwards]
Russo has had a tumultuous career in the wrestling world. He was immensely successful with WWE. However, the writer could not replicate the same success in WCW and is often regarded as the major reason why the company closed its doors in 2001.
