A major WWE Superstar took to social media to complain about a Crown Jewel controversy ahead of tonight's episode of RAW. The veteran was not in action at the premium live event over the weekend in Saudi Arabia.
Rhea Ripley successfully defended her Women's World Championship in a Fatal Five-Way match against Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, Raquel Rodriguez, and Nia Jax at Crown Jewel 2023. Ripley emerged victorious in the bout last year, but Baszler felt she should have won because she made Nia Jax pass out.
The Queen of Spades took to social media to remind everyone that she should have won the match last year at Crown Jewel and should be champion right now.
"One year ago today, I made someone pass out in a 5-way title match. I should be the champion now. #CrownJewel," she wrote.

Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, and Sonya Deville are currently in a faction on WWE RAW known as Pure Fusion Collective.
Former WWE writer criticizes Shayna Baszler's faction on RAW
Wrestling veteran Vince Russo recently criticized Shayna Baszler's Pure Fusion Collective faction on the red brand.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, Russo claimed that the heel trio resembled bouncers at a nightclub. The legend suggested that fans would not pay to see Pure Fusion Collective and mocked the company's creativity.
"We got our new bouncies, bro. Did you catch our new bouncies? Oh my God, bro. You got Shayna Baszler, Sonya Deville, and Zoey Stark. That gimmick [is] what they do now? See that gimmick? They put their guns in. Bro, that's worth the $200 ticket. Let me run to the cash machine. Let me get my 200 bucks so I can see these three yahoos put their guns in the middle. What are you, nuts?" Baszler is a former two-time NXT Women's Champion and has captured the Women's Tag Team Championship three times during her career so far. The 44-year-old has never won a singles title on WWE's main roster.
It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for Baszler and Pure Fusion Collective moving forward.
