While WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin has a very good image in the pro-wrestling industry, he has also had his share of troubles. A wrestling veteran, EC3, recently shared his thoughts on how the legend has still been able to maintain his fanbase.
Stone Cold has faced some instances of being accused of domestic violence over the course of his WWE career. A particular case involving his ex-wife Debra Marshall had him pleading no-contest in court, which led to a punishment by fine, probation, and community service. Inspite of all this, his image among pro-wrestling fans has more or less remained the same.
Speaking about the matter on Sportskeeda's UnSKripted, former WWE star EC3 stated that he had forgotten the matter until it was brought up.
"I completely forgot until you brought that up too. Not a question I can answer, because I have my opinions and I respect diligently both the work the men have done and I understand that humans are capable of making very big mistakes and how do they atone for them and how do they find peace, hopefully they find forgiveness and I wish all the best. So that's the way I kinda look at it." [25:35 onwards]
It remains to be seen what Stone Cold Steve Austin plans to do next in his career, and if a WWE appearance may be on the cards for him soon.
