Liv Morgan reflected on her victory over Nia Jax at WWE Crown Jewel
At the Crown Jewel PLE, Liv Morgan defeated Nia Jax to become the inaugural Women's Crown Jewel Champion.
Speaking backstage after her match, Morgan stated she was proud and honored to be the champion. She also claimed that Jax was her toughest opponent to date. Morgan said:
"I'm so happy, I'm so proud, I'm so honored. Nia Jax, she was not easy to beat, probably my toughest opponent to date. But I beat her, and not only did I prove that I'm the greatest Women’s World Champion of all time, but I'm the very first ever Women’s Crown Jewel Champion."
Heading into the Saudi Arabian PLE, Morgan was feuding with Rhea Ripley. At SummerSlam, she defeated Ripley with an assist from Dominik Mysterio. Later at the Bad Blood Premium Live Event, Morgan successfully walked out with the Women's World Championship after interference from the returning Raquel Rodriguez.
Last week on NXT, Morgan and Rodriguez ambushed Ripley in the parking lot, leaving her in a bloody mess and sidelined with an injury.
