Former WWE Champion CM Punk will be in action at the upcoming premiere of RAW on Netflix. Ahead of this historic episode, Dominik Mysterio expressed his desire for another opportunity to face The Second City Saint.
Dirty Dom has a long-standing grudge against The Best in the World dating back to 2010. During this time, Punk, as part of the Straight Edge Society faction, crashed Rey Mysterio's daughter Aalyah's birthday party. This incident left a lasting impression on Dominik, who now seeks retribution for the disrespect shown to his family.
In December 2023, CM Punk and Mysterio battled on two non-televised house shows. The Voice of The Voiceless emerged victorious on both occasions. On the No-Contest Wrestling podcast, the 27-year-old WWE Superstar recalled the encounter where Punk sang Happy Birthday to his sister.
Dominik Mysterio claimed to have learned from past experiences and is now prepared to face the former three-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion:
Charlotte Flair to return and wrestle a CURRENT CHAMPION?
"Now that I'm my own man and he [CM Punk] doesn't have to corner me into a corner, I would love to get my hands on him again. Now that I'm prepared and ready. I've seen kind of what he can do. It's nothing special. He does the same things. I'm pretty sure I can read his playbook. Actually, here's a good one, I know his moveset," Dom said. [H/T - Fightful]

WWE star Dominik Mysterio takes shots at CM Punk
During the same interaction on the No-Contest Wrestling podcast, The Judgment Day star discussed two matches he had with the former WWE World Champion. Dominik Mysterio criticized The Straight Edge Superstar's return to the company, describing it as a disappointing spectacle.
He took shots at CM Punk's performance, emphasizing his lack of preparation and unusual ring attire:
"I had the great dishonor of welcoming Punk back after 10 long years. It was everything I expected it to be. Just an old man trying to do his thing, thinks he still got it. I'm pretty sure you guys saw the match. He went out there in some plain black underwear, didn't even have his gear and it was definitely a sight to see. Overall, I'm glad the company was able to trust me to get in there with CM Punk," he said.
On the debut of RAW on Netflix, The Second City Devil will face Seth Rollins in a highly anticipated match. However, it remains to be seen if Punk and Dominik Mysterio will cross paths again.
