Bobby Lashley was supposed to fight a WWE legend early in his mixed martial arts career in the 2000s. Ken Shamrock opened up about the canceled fight between the former WWE stars and reiterated that he fears no one.
Lashley vs. Shamrock was supposed to happen in March 2009, but it was canceled after the latter tested positive for steroids, as per reports. It was never revisited as The Almighty went off to have a successful career with a record of 15-2 from 2008 to 2016 before returning to pro wrestling.
Speaking on the latest episode of Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Shamrock was asked about his supposed fight against Lashley. He doesn't remember all the things leading to the cancellation but warned anyone who would call him scared to fight back then.
"Man, that was a long time ago. I don't even remember, but one thing that I want people to know, and anybody that knows me, and anybody that's ever been around me, and anybody's ever trained with me knows this for a fact. I'm afraid of no one. Even to this day, I'm afraid of no one. It's a friggin fight. You put a gun to my head. I mean, yeah, I'll be a little bit nervous, but my character in the way that I grew up, I'm not afraid that's not in me. That's not a part of me," Shamrock said. [H/T: chrisvanvliet.com]

Bobby Lashley teases what's next for him after WWE exit
One of the most surprising situations in WWE this year was Bobby Lashley's contract not being renewed. Lashley was a two-time WWE Champion and was still in top shape. However, the company decided to move on, and now he's a free agent.
The Almighty teased what's next for him in a video uploaded on his official YouTube channel. He commented on all the rumors surrounding his status and mentioned several wrestling promotions.
"I see so many articles all about what I'm gonna do. Is it WWE? Is it TNA? Is it AEW? I can't control any of that. But the one thing I can control is how I prepare. I'm ready for anything," Lashley said. [H/T: WrestleZone]
At the age of 48, Lashley might be past his prime but he remains in top shape. He offers a lot of credibility to whatever promotion decides to sign him.
