WWE Hall of Famer Madusa (Alundra Blayze) revealed that she was warned about Nia Jax ahead of the 20-woman Battle Royal match at Evolution.
Although Madusa retired from in-ring competition in 2000, the three-time Women's Champion returned to the squared circle for the first time in 18 years at Evolution in 2018. She participated in the 20-woman Battle Royal match for a title shot. However, the former 24/7 Champion was eliminated by Nia Jax.
On an episode of her Trash Talk podcast, Madusa disclosed that she had knee replacement surgery a few months before the match. She also revealed that she was warned that Jax would "rip her leg off."

"I just had my total knee replacement. I was only 7 months in and I was in a Battle Royal and that's when Nia Jax threw me over the top rope. Everyone's like, 'Oh my God! She's gonna rip your leg off.' And I'm like, 'I'm not f***ing scared of her. She's gonna be fine with me. If not, I will f*** her up.' It was fine. Her and I were laughing and she's like, 'I got you.' And I'm like, 'I'm not scared. I can protect myself. I'm all right. I'm only going over the top rope. So, yeah, it's okay,'" she said. Nia Jax recently returned to WWE
After spending nearly seven years in WWE, Nia Jax was released from her contract in 2021. Last month, The Irresistible Force returned to Monday Night RAW after two years of absence, attacking Raquel Rodriguez and the Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley.
The 39-year-old will now square off against Zoey Stark, Shayna Baszler, Rodriguez, and Ripley for the latter's Women's World Title next month at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.
