John Cena will kickstart his WWE Farewell Tour in January 2025. WrestleMania 41 will be his last in-ring performance on the grandest spectacle in sports entertainment.
Seldom few wrestlers can boast about having faced The Cenation Leader twice at The Show of Shows. The Miz wants to complete a trilogy next year at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
Speaking on The Rich Eisen Show while promoting WrestleMania 41, The Miz brought up John Cena's retirement and was curious, just like everybody else, as to who the 16-time World Champion will face at next year's Show of Shows. However, The A-Lister admitted there is a part of him that wishes he gets the nod:
"If Cena says this is it, this is it. And I'm curious to see who's going to go up against him," The Miz said. "I'm putting my name in the hat. I'll heel that one out. All day. Name's in the hat." [From 19:55 to 20:06]

A look back at John Cena vs. The Miz at WrestleMania
John Cena and The Miz have been rivals throughout their WWE careers. Two years after sparking a feud with Cena as an up-and-comer on Monday Night RAW, The A-Lister walked into WrestleMania 27 in 2011 as WWE Champion. He defended the belt against The Cenation Leader and prevailed.
While this was a career-defining moment for The Awesome One, it was not the last time they mixed it up on The Grandest Stage of Them All. Cut to 2017, at WrestleMania 33, John Cena and Nikki Bella wrestled The Miz and his wife, Maryse, in a Mixed Tag Team contest. Cena got his win back here. Needless to say, they always brought out the best in each other as rivals.
Reflecting on his WrestleMania 27 main event, though, The Miz revealed everything was a bit blurry because it was his first time headlining the biggest show WWE produces each year, and he thought he had messed it up. His wife had to let him know in gorilla post-match that it went well.

Cena, 47, should not be done with wrestling for good, noted WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler recently. Nevertheless, there are way too many challengers for the 16-time World Champion.
