The landscape of WWE has been constantly evolving under Triple H's leadership, with next to no issues amongst the stars in the locker room. However, that wasn't the case back in the day. Recently, former Cruiserweight Champion Paul London cleared the air on whether he still holds a grudge against The Game.

Almost two decades ago, Triple H was one of the company's faces as an active performer. The King of Kings reportedly had issues in the past, and one of those names was Paul London.

Speaking on Cafe De Rene, the former three-time Tag Team and one-time Cruiserweight Champion addressed whether he still holds a grudge against Triple H for a past incident involving a trident.

"Yeah, I do not hold a grudge. To me, it's funny to me to think back that I had threatened Triple H with a trident. It's funny to me that he and I never got into an argument, but there was always this weird dance with us socially. Do I hate the guy? I never hated him. It takes a lot for me to hate anybody," London said. (From 00:10 to 00:50)

What transpired between Triple H and Paul London in WWE?

Paul London was a decorated star in the WWE's tag team and cruiserweight division for years to come. London held championship gold in the company and spent around five years before he was released.

During his time with the company, he pitched different ideas and characters that were eventually rejected. One such idea revolved around him having a new look and having a trident in his gimmick's arsenal.

Speaking on Cafe De Rene, London detailed how he jokingly mocked the star in his pitched gimmick with the trident. The incident didn't sit well with Triple H or the management at WWE at the time.

The event's timeline wasn't clear. However, it could've been later in 2004, as London mocked Triple H's role in Blade 3 during the incident.
