WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg hasn't competed inside the ring in over two years and hasn't appeared for any major wrestling company. Meanwhile, former Tag Team Champion Matt Riddle has opened up about his current relationship with Da Man.
Matt Riddle has had real-life issues with many prominent names, including Seth Rollins and Goldberg. He seemingly doesn't like the Hall of Famer's in-ring work, leading to an unpleasant interaction between the two in the past. Last year, The Original Bro's tenure with the Stamford-based promotion ended when he was released from his contract.
In an interview with Rewind Recap Relive - Wrestling Interviews, Riddle was asked about his current relationship with Bill Goldberg. The 38-year-old star revealed that he and the WCW legend have had conversations in the past, and they could co-exist now.
"Willie G, Bill Goldberg. I don't know, I don't think it's great. It didn't start off well. I'm not a huge fan of his wrestling style, and how do we stand now? I would say we can probably be in the same room together without starting to fight. We've talked, we've had some drinks. I think he gets me a little bit better, I get him. I know where he's coming from and why he thinks the way he does and things, I get it. I just have my philosophy and he has his, and I think we've come to an agreeance to that," Riddle said.
The Original Bro was also down to have a match with the former Universal Champion.
"But if I ever get a chance to get him in the ring? Willy G, I'm your guy. I'm your guy, dude," Riddle added. (From 3:00 to 3:38)

Goldberg's last WWE match took place in Saudi Arabia
In 2016, Goldberg decided to set foot inside the square circle after a long hiatus when he returned to the Stamford-based promotion. Da Man shocked the world when he defeated Brock Lesnar in less than ninety seconds at Survivor Series.
Following the massive win, he captured the WWE Universal Championship on two occasions. The veteran dedicated the stint to his son, who wanted to witness his father wrestle live.
In 2022, Goldberg returned to SmackDown and got a match against Roman Reigns in Saudi Arabia at WWE Elimination Chamber. The Tribal Chief defeated the WWE Hall of Famer in the latter's final bout.
