One of the biggest moments of Omos' WWE career came in 2022 when he formed an alliance with MVP. In a recent interview, the seven-foot-three star reacted to the news that his former on-screen manager is leaving WWE.
Reports emerged in July that Bobby Lashley and MVP were set to depart the company. The latter fueled the speculation with a subtle post on social media. He also made an unexpected appearance at GCW Bloodsport, where he confirmed his WWE exit.
Speaking to Adrian Hernandez, Omos only had positive things to say about his days working with MVP. He also acknowledged that now is the right time for his friend to explore new opportunities:
"Since my time on WWE, MVP, I've spent the most time with him on the road," Omos stated. "We drove everywhere, three, four hours, you name it. It was him and I, hip to hip, so I'm definitely gonna miss him. I think it was time. I think our time that we spent together, I was able to learn a lot from him." [3:06 – 3:25]

MVP began managing Omos after The Nigerian Giant's loss against Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 38. The two men had not featured much on WWE television in the months leading up to MVP's departure.
Omos on his friendship with MVP outside of WWE
Before joining forces with MVP, Omos was part of a tag team with AJ Styles for over a year. The two men won the RAW Tag Team Championship in 2021 and feuded with The New Day and RK-Bro.
After his partnership with Styles ended, Omos aligned with MVP and learned a lot from the former United States Champion:
"I was able to pick his brain. We spoke about everything from wrestling to promos, how to be a good heel, just little things about the business that a lot of guys don't get, I got to get that one-on-one time with him and learn from someone who's very experienced in this business. I was extremely grateful that I had the opportunity to work with him, and I did learn a lot. Forever we have a friendship. He was at my wedding last year. I call him all the time, so he's forever my guy." [3:26 – 3:55]
Omos has not wrestled on television since featuring in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the April 5 episode of SmackDown.
