"I don't want to see Sami Zayn against anybody" - WWE veteran fires shots at star after huge RAW brawl

Former WWE head writer Vince Russo spoke about Sami Zayn inciting a backstage brawl on RAW. The star attacked Drew McIntyre, leading to a huge scuffle between the two men.

Drew attacked Zayn immediately after his return. This led to the two men facing off at Saturday Night's Main Event. The Scottish Warrior emerged victorious during the encounter, cleaning up Zayn with a vicious Claymore. But Sami attacked his opponent backstage and made it clear this week that the feud is not over.

This week on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Russo criticized WWE for dragging out feuds. He questioned why Sami was still fighting McIntyre this week on RAW after losing clean at Saturday Night's Main Event. He also complained about the long-running rivalries between Kevin Owens & Cody Rhodes, and Liv Morgan & Rhea Ripley.

"I don't want to see Sami Zayn against anybody." He continued, "They gotta stop with these feuds going on forever. Why is Sami Zayn attacking Drew McIntyre when Drew McIntyre beat him clean at Saturday Night's Main Event? They're gonna keep that thing going. Then they're gonna keep Owens and Cody Rhodes going, they're gonna keep Liv and Rhea Ripley going. My God, enough with these feuds already. You are beating these things to death, man." [22:30 onwards]

This week, Drew clarified that he would go after everyone who aligned themselves with the OG Bloodline, including Sami Zayn, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso.

After this week's exchange, it will be interesting to see how Drew McIntyre retaliates against Sami.
