WWE Superstar AJ Styles is arguably one of the best in-ring performers in the business. However, The Phenomenal One is currently out of action due to injury.
AJ Styles made his official WWE debut in the 2016 Royal Rumble Match. However, it was not his first appearance for the global juggernaut. The veteran performer had competed in a singles match against The Hurricane in 2002 on an episode of WWF Jakked, which he lost.
The 47-year-old has also wrestled multiple matches for WCW. He competed in three tag team matches alongside Air Paris on WCW Thunder and once on WCW Monday NITRO. Earlier today, Wrestling Stats & Info posted an update on X (FKA Twitter), pointing out that Styles is the only superstar on the current roster to have wrestled in both WWF and WCW.

WWE Superstar Grayson Waller breaks character to open up on his experience competing with AJ Styles
Former WWE Tag Team Champion Grayson Waller is among those superstars who love to stay in character even outside the squared circle. However, the 34-year-old recently has some nice things to say about AJ Styles.
During his appearance on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Waller was asked to name any surreal moments of his wrestling career. In response, he recalled his match with Styles in NXT 2.0 in 2022. He further spoke about his experience of going from being a nobody to competing with one of the best wrestlers in the world.
"I think the two that—the first one was AJ Styles in NXT. I went so quickly from being the fourth best member of a WarGames team that no one cared about, that everyone was saying, 'Why is he even in it?' to four weeks later, being the guy who took [Johnny] Gargano out of NXT and wrestling AJ Styles on NXT TV. And this was back when [the] main roster guys did not come down to NXT. So I think that quick transition of being nobody into somebody in wrestling one of the best of all time, that was extremely surreal," he said. [From 38:56 to 39:32]

Grayson Waller has competed in only two televised contests in as many months. The Aussie Icon, alongside Austin Theory, lost both those tag team matches. It will be interesting to see what lies ahead for the duo, which has seemingly lost momentum after DIY dethroned them to become the WWE Tag Team Champions over five months ago.
