WWE released three superstars, including SmackDown's Indi Hartwell, ahead of the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event. Following her sudden departure from the wrestling promotion, the former NXT Women's Champion has shared a heartwarming social media update.
The 28-year-old's last in-ring appearance for the Stamford-based company was on the go-home edition of the blue brand's show ahead of the Saudi Arabian premium live event. The episode was pre-taped and aired hours after Hartwell's release. In her final match, she teamed up with Candice LeRae to take on the team of Bayley and Naomi, who pinned Indi to secure the win.
Indi Hartwell recently took to her Instagram account to share a heartwarming and positive message despite her departure from the wrestling promotion. The Aussie noted she was grateful for the five years she spent as a WWE Superstar. She shared a picture of herself, with 'Anywhere' as the location.
"Got to live out a childhood dream for the last 5 years and I’m so grateful! I’m just a girl from Australia who never took naur for an answer and made her dreams a reality. It all started with a match in Brooklyn at the Barclays Center and fittingly, ends there too. Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened🫶," she wrote.

Former champion had recently claimed that WWE had forgotten Indi Hartwell
Indi Hartwell's former tag team partner Candice LeRae became the inaugural WWE Speed Women's Champion earlier this year. In the first round of the title tournament, she defeated Piper Niven.
After the match, Hartwell mocked Chelsea Green for being absent from her tag team partner, Piper Niven's corner. In response, the former Duorop took a dig at Indi's booking, claiming the wrestling promotion might have forgotten about her.
"Ha you funny. You’re welcome for the exposure btw Now the higher ups might remember you actually work here and put you in a match of your own," wrote Niven.
