WWE SmackDown this week featured a huge #1 contender's match as Bayley, Naomi, Bianca Belair, and Nia Jax clashed to determine the next challenger for Tiffany Stratton. Wrestling veteran Bill Apter feels that the match could have also benefitted from Jade Cargill's return.

Jad Cargill has been on the sidelines since getting attacked backstage a few months back, with the identity of her attacker still unknown. Naomi has replaced the former AEW star in her team with Bianca Belair, and she is currently one-half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions.

However, Naomi and Bianca were on opposite sides on SmackDown last night as four women clashed in the WWE Women's Championship #1 contender match. Bill Apter stated on Sportskeeda Wrestling's SmackTalk that the match could have been the perfect place to reintroduce Jade Cargill:

"My first thought was like, how are they gonna put the tag team champions against each other? I thought this would have been a great time to have Jade Cargill come back and get involved in the whole thing. With Bianca and Naomi arguing there and Jade comes back." [26:29 onwards]

Many have speculated that it was Naomi who took out Jade Cargill. However, we are unlikely to get the full picture before the powerhouse makes her return.
