WWE Superstar John Cena officially kickstarted his Farwell Tour on Monday Night RAW's Netflix Premiere. The Cenation Leader is set to retire from in-ring action by the end of 2025.

The 47-year-old announced his participation in the 2024 Royal Rumble Match while pointing out his poor win/loss record in the last few years. He also talked about experts predicting his potential opponents during the Farewell Tour. RAW Superstar Bronson Reed, whom he did not name-drop, recently teased a confrontation with the 16-time World Champion.

The Aussie took to this X (fka Twitter) account to respond to WWE's post asking who John Cena should face before bidding adieu. "Big" Bronson Reed referred to himself as the perfect Cena antagonist. The former North American Champion noted he is sure that the veteran is scared of him.

"I'm the perfect Cena antagonist. I'm down once I'm cleared ... But I'm sure homies scared," he wrote.

Current WWE Champion opens up on potential match with John Cena

Ahead of John Cena's much-awaited return to Monday Night RAW, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes shared his thoughts on possibly competing with the legend before his retirement.

While responding to a question during his appearance at Fanatics Fest in New York City last year, The American Nightmare claimed that facing Cena in any capacity would be the honor of his life. Rhodes added that he learned everything he could from the former WWE Champion during his previous run with the wrestling promotion.

"We get to live in this era. [...] He is definitely a man of his word. When he says it's farewell, it truly is farewell. So, if you've [not] got the Farewell Tour T-shirt, go and get it. I drove around John for a year, and I learned everything I possibly could. [I] didn't realize I was learning so much at the time. It would be the honor of my life to wrestle John Cena in any capacity. He's the GOAT for a reason," he said.

While John Cena will compete in the Royal Rumble match to punch his ticket to WrestleMania 41, Cody Rhodes will defend his title against Kevin Owens in a ladder match at the premium live event. It remains to be seen if the two will cross paths before Cena hangs up his boots.
