Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson recently took to social media to provide a major update on his injury amid his hiatus from WWE. The Great One returned to the Stamford-based promotion at the start of this year.

Although The Brahma Bull did not compete inside the squared circle for years, he put on a great show on Night One of WrestleMania XL, teaming up with Roman Reigns to defeat Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. On the fallout episode of RAW after The Show of Shows, The Rock revealed that he had to take some time off WWE programming due to his commitments in Hollywood, but promised that he would return to finish his story with The American Nightmare.

The Final Boss recently shared that he had suffered a brutal injury to his elbow with a ruptured bursa sac while he was working on his upcoming movie, The Smashing Machine.

The Great One recently took to Instagram and provided a major update on his injury. Dwayne Johnson uploaded a workout video and revealed that his elbow was feeling better.

"elbow’s feelin’ better 💪🏾 2-sec peak hold, with deep stretch at the bottom. These are a [b***h] and kicks my a** but super effective and one of my fav DB rowing exercises. Brother @jellyroll615 always poppin’ up on the #ironparadise playlist 🤜🏾🤛🏼 ‘searchin for new ways I can get gone’ amen," The Rock shared.

The Rock talked about being nervous before his WWE WrestleMania XL match

During a recent interview with ESPN, The Rock said that before his entrance on Night One of WWE WrestleMania XL, he felt really nervous and anxious because he poured his heart and soul into the storyline leading up to the match.

"All the nerves left my body, and all I could do was just close my eyes and breathe in the mana right in the corner, and that's what I did and it all went away. [Rocky chants began after the intro] I was very nervous about it, and the anxiety level was at a nice clip going in, and usually, if you have anxiety, you have nerves with something big like that, that you poured your heart and soul into, that you have to go out and you have to perform and you get one shot, one take, that's it," The Rock said.

It will be interesting to see what The Rock has planned for his feud with Cody Rhodes upon his return to WWE.
