Wrestling veteran Bin Hamin recently addressed the upcoming 2025 WWE Men's Royal Rumble. He claimed inside sources have informed him of the currently planned winner of the match.
The upcoming Royal Rumble is expected to feature many top superstars, including Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins. Multiple legends, including John Cena, The Rock, and Randy Orton are rumored to compete in the Royal Rumble for a guaranteed world championship shot at WrestleMania 41. During an appearance on the Cafe de Rene podcast, Bin Hamin discussed the potential winner of the match.
The wrestling veteran stated that he had heard from his inside sources that the Stamford-based company, led creatively by Chief Content Officer Triple H, is currently planning for The Rock to win the Royal Rumble. Meanwhile, he did not rule out the possibility of these plans changing:

"Yeah, win the Rumble? Maybe they'll switch it. My inside sources, and like it could change the day of, so, but I heard The Rock is penciled in as the one right now. So, we'll see which way it goes. Last year, The Rock initially returned to fight his cousin, then-Undisputed WWE Champion Roman Reigns, at WrestleMania 40. While these plans later changed, Dave Meltzer claimed on the Keepin' It 100 podcast that The Rock winning the 2024 Men's Royal Rumble idea was discussed with him by people inside the company.
The veteran journalist claimed The Final Boss winning this year's Royal Rumble remains a possibility, predicted that Cody Rhodes would defend his title against the 52-year-old legend at the Show of Shows:
"I think if Cody's champion, he's gonna defend against Dwayne. Then that's out unless they have Dwayne win the Rumble, which you know is as weird as that sounds, it's not a non-viable situation. It would actually be gigantic if that happened. I mean, I remember when he was gonna come back and wrestle Reigns, it actually was discussed with me from people there," he said.
Former WWE Superstar Rene Dupree suggested John Cena should be the one to win the upcoming Royal Rumble. It would be interesting to see who will overcome 29 other superstars and book his ticket to the WrestleMania 41 main event.
