A top international star who has wrestled for AEW is open to signing with WWE.

The man in question is English wrestler Will Ospreay. He is considered one of the best wrestlers in the world. Ospreay's contract with NJPW will reportedly end in February 2024. Considering his stature, most wrestling promotions would love to have him move to their roster. Ospreay has already made several appearances in AEW and IMPACT.

In an interview with Metro, Ospreay was asked about a potential move to WWE. In reply, the Englishman said that he is open to all options, including moving to the United States.

"I mean, we have spoke about it [potent move to WWE] more. I’m now open to the idea of stretching myself out that little bit more. As age has become more apparent to me and my body is hurting more and more, I’m open to all avenues. I’ve had a lot of talks with my friends about this, and I have spoke to the missus. Although we’ve spent so much money on our new kitchen, we are open to the idea of relocating to the United States. It’s on the table, that’s all I can really say. That means I am open to all options going forward," he said.

Will Ospreay made his IMPACT Wrestling debut amid interest from WWE

Will Ospreay recently made his debut in IMPACT Wrestling. He faced Mike Bailey at the Bound For Glory pay-per-view this past weekend. At the Bound For Glory Fallout taping, the NJPW star addressed the fans.

Ospreay stated that IMPACT Wrestling has a great roster and will do wonders under its rebranding as TNA.

"Once upon a time, I honestly thought IMPACT was done. There was no saving IMPACT Wrestling. But then new ownership came along and then the talent backstage! It is and should be spoken loud and clear that the staff back there and on the roster are the reason why this place is living, breathing, and thriving," he said.

Ospreay further added:

"But, I didn’t want to come to IMPACT Wrestling; I wanted to come to TNA. So, before I round this up, before February strikes, you better make sure, as much as I loved IMPACT: I mean to step foot in a TNA ring."
