A WWE veteran recently talked about his experiences with Kevin Sullivan, especially during the difficult time the former had when brought into WCW as a writer. The veteran in question, Vince Russo, further made it clear that he no longer held any grudges against the legend.
Kevin and Vince Russo apparently clashed quite a bit during their shared time together in WCW, where the latter had pitched several storyline ideas that were deemed wild by Sullivan.
Speaking on the latest episode of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Outlaws, the former WWE writer talked about how the "political" conflicts had not resulted in his lack of respect for the Taskmaster. Vince Russo also praised Kevin Sullivan's work, claiming he was a creative genius.

Because he was kinda writing, and then they brought me in, and then him and JJ Dillon kind of undermined me a little, and then I was out and he was back in. I don't care about any of that stuff. I mean, I have had him on Russo's Brand since, because I always thought this guy was a freaking madman, like a creative genius. Like seriously man, I always loved his work. The WWE veteran no longer has any grudge against Kevin Sullivan
According to Vince Russo, the conflict between him and Kevin Sullivan has been a thing of the past for quite some time now.
On the same episode of The Wrestling Outlaws, the WWE veteran talked about how he had later collaborated with Kevin Sullivan on his own podcast. He also stated that he loved having simple conversations with the legend about pro wrestling.
"Like I said brother there was a lot of political BS but I never held that against him personally because it's the wrestling business. This guy had a very different creative mind, and I always enjoyed just having discussions with him man." [2:45 onwards]
Kevin Sullivan is currently facing some serious health issues owing to an accident he had. His family has also launched a GoFundMe account to raise money for his treatment, which has already amassed over 54 thousand dollars as of this writing.
