Jey Uso's career trajectory in WWE changed when he stepped out of The Bloodline's shadow and became a singles star. Recently, Main Event Jey got candid about how he felt after reuniting with Jimmy Uso and the challenges he faced alone.

Last year, Jey Uso left Friday Night SmackDown and The Bloodline to become a singles star in the Stamford-based promotion. Main Event Jey rose to the top and won gold without help from any of his family members. However, fate wanted the two brothers to reunite, and they did on WWE SmackDown in October 2024.

In an interview with Peter Rosenberg at Complex Con, the former WWE Intercontinental Champion got candid about his reunion with Jimmy Uso. The 39-year-old star opened up about the challenges he faced as a performer without his brother, as he often had someone by his side throughout his journey.

"It was great, man. I was really happy to see my brother. I don't see him as much, Uce. I'm saying I don't travel with him much no more, you know what I'm saying because we're on different shows and he was hurt for a little minute, and now he's back. It's just cool to see him back on TV and on the road together," Jey said. (From 02:06 to 02:24)

He added:

"A lot, man. No one sees that part, Uce. I've never been on the road alone. I always had like somebody in the car with me—my brothers, you know, driving, talking. It was a little lonely out there sometimes, Uce. But I'm just glad he's back, man. He's healthy," Jey said. (From 02:42 to 03:03)

Jey Uso would like another match in WWE with Jimmy Uso after The Bloodline saga

Earlier this year, Jey Uso faced Jimmy Uso in the city of Brotherly Love at The Grandest Stage of Them All. However, the match didn't exceed expectations and was shorter than one would've imagined.

In the same interview, Main Event Jey was asked about WrestleMania 41, and he stated he's interested in running it back with his brother at The Showcase of the Immortals in Las Vegas.

"Nah man, [I haven’t thought about it]. To be honest though, I would like to run it back with my brother one more time. I would like to, because, it left a lil' bad taste in my mouth with that one," Jey said.
