The Bloodline story has managed to help numerous names make their way to the top in singles storylines. Chief among them would be Jey Uso. The 39-year-old star managed to clinch the Intercontinental Championship last year and could end up winning another title this year as well. His father, Rikishi, outlined the new year for him.
During a recent edition of Rikishi's Off The Top podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer addressed Jey Uso's future in the company, stating that the star could either go after the Intercontinental Title or the world title.
Rikishi pointed out that either title would elevate Uso's position in the roster, and add a lot of merchandise sales for the company, making him a much bigger star in the industry.
"I think Jey can go either way, you know? (…) Either way, it’s a win-win situation for the company because merch sales goes up, which is great. It’s a win situation for Jey; you know, the fans get to see their hero with new merch all the time. So, yeah, if it was me as a wrestler, of course, everybody wants the main one. Everybody wants the main gold, just to say, 'I’ve been there one time,' or 'I’ve done that,' you know what I mean? And then anything underneath that after is just a plus. So, you know, let’s see where Jey goes for 2025,” said Rikishi. [22:06 onwards]
