WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker took part in countless epic encounters during his time as an active performer for the Stamford-based company. The Deadman recently spoke about a controversial bout against Bill Goldberg.

A few years ago, The Undertaker went head-to-head against Goldberg for the first and last time in Saudi Arabia in a one-on-one contest at WWE Super ShowDown. Unfortunately, the match was incredibly underwhelming and the two stars were even on the cusp of permanently injuring themselves.

During an appearance on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, The Deadman spoke about his encounter with the former Universal Champion. The WWE Hall of Famer stated it was scary to be in the match, as age played a factor in facing a new opponent like Goldberg.

"It was a scary match to be in and it was just Father Time. The worst thing as you get older are the breaks (...) You don't get many opportunities, especially that late in your career to do a first, I had never worked with Goldberg. And the Saudis for all the good and all the bad, they paid a lot of money to get us to come over there for that," Taker said.

The Undertaker also felt he let people and himself down due to the match.

"I always like to live up to my name and I really felt like I had let people down I'd let myself down. Because I hold a higher standard for myself than what anybody else does. I can get over what other people think of me but what I want out of me is the very best (...) I knew it wasn't good. And we both, he thought he had a concussion and my back, I thought was broken. It was just one of those moments, it was a frustration of the whole thing," said Taker. [H/T - Chris Van Vliet]

WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker spoke about his appearance at WrestleMania XL

WrestleMania has often felt incomplete without an appearance from The Undertaker. One of the veteran's biggest achievements of his legendary career was remaining undefeated at the event for decades.

Similar to all good things in life, The Deadman's streak ended at WrestleMania in New Orleans. The WWE Hall of Famer ultimately had his final match for the promotion at the event against AJ Styles.

However, the WWE Hall of Famer briefly spoke about his appearance at WrestleMania XL, where he came out and attacked The Rock and helped Cody Rhodes to even the odds against The Bloodline.
