A former WWE Superstar recently recalled being warned by JBL back when he was a part of the roster. He also talked about how the incident happened during the planning of Vince McMahon's funeral segment on WWE RAW. The was the former WWE star JTG.
In 2007, Vince McMahon had planned a segment about his funeral, which was soon dropped owing to the tragic incident of Chris Benoit. During that time, JTG was in a sticky spot with the WWE locker room, and had been put on trial in the "wrestler's court." According to him, JBL had directly threatened him, albeit in a humorous manner.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's UnSKripted podcast, JTG recalled the circumstances surrounding the incident in WWE and stated:
"That day was a, what day was that... Was it the Draft, no, no. It was Vince McMahon's funeral. Something to do with that. Yea, it was Vince McMahon's funeral over there. We were all dressed up and all that nonsense. It was a big deal. You know in catering, I had JBL coming up to me, 'We're gonna get ya. We're gonna get ya real good.' It was like, 'Uh.'"
