IYO SKY secures a big win after 36-year-old WWE Superstar reunites with her after 3 months

WWE Superstar IYO SKY continued her winning streak on this week’s Monday Night RAW. The Damage CTRL member reunited with a 36-year-old superstar who returned to the red brand after a three-month injury hiatus. With this win, the returning Dakota Kai got some much-needed revenge.

IYO SKY and Kairi Sane were scheduled to face Pure Fusion Collective this week on RAW. The duo was facing a numbers disadvantage since PFC had Shayna Baszler, Sonya Deville, and Zoey Stark. However, much to the surprise of the WWE Universe, Dakota Kai joined her teammates to even the odds.

PFC tried to isolate Kairi Sane at the beginning of the match, but the Japanese wrestler managed to tag herself out. Later, Dakota Kai was seen dominating the match but was later caught in a Hart Boston Crab lock by Baszler.

She was saved by SKY as The Genius of The SKY tagged herself in. Meanwhile, Kai kicked Baszler down, following which the former WWE Women’s Champion landed an Over The Moonsault to secure the win.

This victory added to the winning streak of IYO SKY. She recently defeated Bianca Belair in a singles match and won a Fatal Four-Way against Belair, Lash Legend, and Piper Niven. Moreover, she also won a 15-woman Battle Royal to become the number one contender to challenge Liv Morgan for the WWE Women’s World Championship.

With the return of Kai, the faction just lacks Asuka to make them whole again. It would be interesting to see what lies ahead for Damage CTRL now that she is back.
