Iyo Sky sent a message to her Damage CTRL stablemate Dakota Kai after the latter failed to win the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship. On this week's edition of Monday Night RAW, Dakota Kai faced Lyra Valkyria in the final of the Women's Intercontinental Championship tournament.

Kai defeated Katana Chance and Shayna Baszler in the tournament's opening round and Zoey Stark in the semifinal. Meanwhile, Valkyria defeated Zelina Vega and Ivy Nile before overcoming Sky in the other semifinal.

Kai and Valkyria pushed each other to the limit before the latter emerged victorious. On X/Twitter, Sky sent a message to her Damage CTRL stablemate, stating she was proud of her efforts.
"I’m so proud of you @ImKingKota," Sky wrote.

Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky were introduced as the first members of Damage CTRL by the faction's former leader, Bayley. The trio debuted at the 2022 SummerSlam Premium Live Event. The duo are former two-time WWE Women's Tag Team Champions.
Sky also found singles success as a member of Damage CTRL. At SummerSlam 2023, she cashed in her Money in the Bank contract on Bianca Belair after a Triple Threat Match involving Charlotte Flair and Asuka. The Genius of the Sky won the WWE Women's Championship before dropping the title to Bayley at WrestleMania XL.
