IYO SKY steals yet another victory from WWE champion ahead of major title match at Crown Jewel

WWE Superstar IYO SKY is known both for her in-ring abilities and for stealing opportunistic wins. The Damage CTRL member displayed a blend of both those skills on SmackDown to steal yet another win from Bianca Belair ahead of the Women’s Tag Team Championship match at Crown Jewel.

The two found themselves in the ring for a Fatal Four-Way match involving Lash Legend and Piper Niven as well. Belair was mostly trading blows against Niven and Legend, who teamed up multiple times to counter the EST of WWE.

The reigning tag champ had almost clinched the match with a perfect KOD on Legend. However, IYO SKY immediately followed up with an Over The Moonsault on Belair and sent her out of the ring. She then pinned The Meta Four member to pick up a big win.

IYO SKY and The EST of WWE have a long history with each other, with the Japanese star always outplaying and outsmarting Belair. She won her first WWE Championship by cashing in her Money in the Bank contract on Belair back on August 5, 2023, moments after she won the title.

This match served as the prequel to the upcoming title match at Crown Jewel. As the commentators mentioned right after her win, The Genius of The SKY could steal a win the same way on November 2 at Crown Jewel.

It would be interesting to see if she can bring Damage CTRL back to prominence as she promised and win the tag title with Kairi Sane.
