Jacob Fatu has made an impact in the eyes of the WWE Universe in a short time. He made his debut in June 2024 and has since become one of the most dominant wrestlers from the Anoa'i family.

In the 1990s, Rodney Anoa'i, best known by his ring name Yokozuna, was a huge star. He won the Men's Royal Rumble Match and headlined WrestleMania on two occasions. During his prime, he defeated several top stars of the industry, such as WWE Hall of Famers Bret 'The Hitman' Hart and Hulk Hogan. The legend even held the WWE/F Championship twice in his career.

Unfortunately, Yokozuna passed away at 34 years of age on October 23, 2000. Jacob shared a post on X/Twitter in memory of his late uncle.

The Samoan Werewolf is presently the Enforcer of The Bloodline, led by Solo Sikoa. It remains to be seen whether he follows in the footsteps of his uncle and becomes a world champion in World Wrestling Entertainment.

Jacob Fatu is overshadowing Solo Sikoa, says ex-UFC star Tom Lawlor

Currently active in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) and Major League Wrestling (MLW), ex-UFC star Tom Lawlor discussed Jacob Fatu in a recent podcast. For those unaware, Jacob was among the biggest names in MLW before his WWE signing.

On Walkway To Fight Club, Tom Lawlor claimed The Samoan Werewolf had been a hit since his arrival in WWE. Lawlor pointed to the fact that at times Jacob overshadowed Bloodline leader Solo Sikoa.

The WWE Universe was audibly cheering for Jacob Fatu as Cody Rhodes' challenger during a recent SmackDown promo segment. This suggests that Jacob could become a top babyface down the line.

"In the long run, he’s gonna be the one at the top of the card as a singles act, you can already tell. He’s gonna be so over as a babyface. His moveset and his skills and the way he moves are already kind of tailored to it in the long run, but the fans are clamoring for it now. They wanted him to take that title shot against Cody Rhodes. [WWE has] already done a good job setting it up with [sic] taking the tag title away from him, now taking away his shot at Cody Rhodes. So when he finally does get these matches, the crowd’s gonna be going wild," Lawlor said.

It appears that the Bloodline saga will write its current chapter's finale at Survivor Series: WarGames, with Roman Reigns reportedly set to gain a new ally. It remains to be seen whether Jacob Fatu will get a singles run sooner rather than later.
