WWE Superstar Jade Cargill was attacked on SmackDown a few weeks ago. Wrestling veteran D-Von Dudley recently shared his thoughts on who might have been responsible for the attack on The Storm.
On the November 22, 2024, edition of the blue brand, Cargill was left unconscious due to a backstage attack during Bianca Belair's match against Chelsea Green and Blair Davenport. As a result of the assault, the former AEW star was taken out of the arena in an ambulance.
As per a new report, Jade Cargill is legitimately injured and has been placed on WWE's internal injury list. There is currently no timetable for the 32-year-old female star's return to in-ring competition.
During an interview with TK Trinidad on Women's Wrestling Talk, D-Von Dudley was asked who he believes attacked The Storm on SmackDown. The veteran speculated that Bayley could be the one who attacked Jade Cargill.

The WWE Hall of Famer noted that the four-time Women's Champion has a history of turning heel and engaging in aggressive behavior, which opens the possibility of her resorting to such tactics.
"I wouldn't be surprised maybe if it was Bayley. You never know. Listen, don't think Bayley is not above becoming a heel and doing heelish things to people. We've all seen in the past; we've all seen things in the past where Bayley has come out mean and vicious. So who's to say she didn't want to try to get that spot," he said. [From 12:11 to 12:33]

Many names have been speculated as the attacker of The Storm. Among them, the current WWE Women's Champion, Nia Jax, is considered the most likely culprit.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Nia Jax denied any involvement in the attack on Jade Cargill. The real-life Bloodline member suggested that the former AEW star may have orchestrated her absence by leaving for another vacation.
"Pssshhh 🙄 I didn’t touch her. She probably took herself out, off on another tropical vacation somewhere," wrote Jax.
