Bill Apter recently spoke about the latest WWE signee, Jade Cargill possibly challenging, and dethroning the new NXT Women's Champion, Lyra Valkyria.
Valkyria defeated Lynch in the main event of NXT: Halloween Havoc, much to the astonishment of fans who didn't expect The Man's reign to end so soon. Apart from fans in the arena, recent WWE signee Jade Cargill was also keeping an eye on the main event, as she witnessed the action from close quarters.
On the latest episode of Sportskeeda's UnSKripted, Bill Apter mentioned the former TBS Champion might have sights set on Lyra Valkyria's newly won gold. The veteran wrestling journalist also believes the NXT Women's Championship might be the first piece of gold Jade Cargill could win in the global juggernaut.

"Perhaps, Jade now envisions some of this change that Lyra Valkyria is the new champion, and she's a rookie, and maybe they are gonna build a match with Jade against her, and this becoming Jade's first title in the WWE Universe," said Bill Apter. [10:03 - 10:25]

Rene Dupree on why WWE is hyping Jade Cargill
On the recent episode of his podcast Cafe de Rene, Dupree speculated the reason behind WWE presenting Jade Cargill as a big deal. The wrestling veteran explained that even though her in-ring work was nothing to write home about, the promotion was simply pushing because she looked like a bonafide superstar.
"Vince is all about the look. Why do you think they're giving such hype and such big fanfare to Cargill? We've seen her in the ring. It ain't much. It's because she looks like a f***ing superstar. It's all about the look," he said. [24:32 - 24:47]
Considering Cargill has shared screenspace with Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Charlotte Flair, and more so far, it remains to be seen what WWE has in store for her.
