WWE News: James Ellsworth's Facebook page deactivated

James Ellsworth’s popularity among the WWE Universe has been sensational

SmackDown Live superstar James Ellsworth has been among the most popular faces on WWE television over the past few weeks. Although his first appearance in the WWE came back in July, getting embroiled in the rivalry between AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose a couple of months back was what sealed the deal for Ellsworth.

In a recent development, Facebook ended up deactivating James Ellsworth’s page, which the superstar often used for communicating with fans. This was because the popular social media platform reckoned that someone else was controlling the account using his name.

Ellsworth took to Twitter to address his fans about the issue and assured them that the page would be back up soon. He tweeted the following:

The 32-year old has had issues with social media platforms before, too, as his Twitter account got hacked last month and the WWE had to pitch in to get it back on track once again.

Meanwhile, James Ellsworth’s dream of becoming a WWE champion may have to wait a little more as his scheduled title match against AJ Styles may not happen this Tuesday night either. This is because Styles is still recovering from the ankle injury which he suffered during his match against Dean Ambrose at TLC.

At the pay-per-view, Ellsworth turned on Ambrose, who had helped him gain 3 consecutive victories over ‘The Phenomenal One’, by pushing him off the ladder onto a pile of tables while he was trying to retrieve the title belt.

The reason James Ellsworth gave for his actions at TLC was that he believed he had Styles’ number and could become the WWE champion by beating ‘The Champ That Runs The Camp’.
