JD McDonagh makes claim about Finn Balor and The Judgment Day before RAW; big shots taken after heel turn at the WWE Tag Team titles

JD McDonagh has sent a very strong message ahead of WWE RAW, mentioning The Judgment Day and Finn Balor, but he's taken shots at the WWE Tag Team titles. The star had something to say about what's been happening on SmackDown.

Over the last few months, the WWE Tag Team titles have changed hands quite a few times on SmackDown. Since April, A-Town Down Under held it and lost it in July to DIY. The stars then lost it to The Bloodline, who lost it to The Motor City Machine Guns. Most recently, DIY won the titles again, and have held the championship after their recent heel turn and betrayal of Motor City Machine Guns.

In the meantime, since June, The Judgment Day's Finn Balor and JD McDonagh have held the World Tag Team Championship. They have not really defended it often, though, having had only two title matches on televised shows since then.

JD McDonagh pointed out the length of their reign and complimented himself and Finn Balor, talking about their run with the titles. Naturally, the comments called out their lack of defenses.

"There have been FOUR sets of WWE Tag Team Champions over on SmackDown since me and @FinnBalor won the World Tag Titles. A generational run!! 🏆🏆"

JD McDonagh and Finn Balor have not had to defend their titles, thanks to the feud with Damian Priest

Once again, Finn Balor has managed to avoid a Tag Team title match at Saturday Night's Main Event. Instead, he is facing Gunther for a World Heavyweight title match. The star will have to defend the title after that, though, as per Adam Pearce.

Thanks to his feud with Damian Priest and his attack on the former Judgment Day star, he has managed to avoid title responsibilities so far. Given that the star attacked Priest again at Survivor Series, it seems that this will continue.
