Jey Uso and Sami Zayn's friendship goes way back. When Sami first joined the Bloodline, Jey opposed him as he didn't trust him. However, Sami gained his trust over time, and the two men became quite close until Sami betrayed Roman Reigns. Their friendship reunited after Jey also left The Bloodline.
When Jey moved from SmackDown to RAW to escape his family, Zayn was among the first people to greet and welcome him to the red brand. Needless to say that both men have developed a strong bond over the years.
