Jey Uso established himself as a major player in WWE's tag team division before he became a singles star. Recently, Main Event Jey picked his top three tag team matches of all time in the Stamford-based promotion.
Jey Uso spent over a decade in WWE as a tag team specialist alongside his brother Jimmy Uso. It was only a few months ago when Main Event Jey got an opportunity to shine as a singles performer when he feuded with Roman Reigns on Friday Night SmackDown.
In an interview on Unlikley with Adrian Hernandez, Jey Uso named his three favorite tag team matches of all time. The 39-year-old star gave dues to The Street Profits and The Wyatt Family. Uso added his last year's classic with Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa on the list as well.
"Hell yeah, man. Luke Harper, bro, he's my dog, and that's one of my favorite matches. That's one of my favorite top three tag team matches ever, bro. Number one right now is Money in the Bank against Roman [Reigns] and Solo [Sikoa]. 2 out of 3 falls from Battleground [2014] with The Wyatts, and SummerSlam [2022] with The Street Profits," Jey said. Jey Uso hasn't teamed up with Jimmy Uso since WWE Money in the Bank 2023
Last year, The Usos had a rough year as their dream run ended at WrestleMania 39 against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. The twins remained strong for a while as they went up against Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa.
After defeating The Bloodline, Jimmy Uso betrayed Jey in the coming weeks at WWE SummerSlam 2023 against Roman Reigns. Later, the two parted ways and had a match at WrestleMania XL.
Last month, The Usos reunited against a common enemy and assisted Roman Reigns. Later, a six-man tag team match was announced against Solo Sikoa's Bloodline, which the original trio lost in Saudi Arabia.
However, Jimmy and Jey haven't had a traditional tag team match in the Stamford-based promotion since WWE Money in the Bank 2023. It'll be interesting to see if the twins have a tag team match in the near future.
