Sam Roberts believes Jey Uso could face Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 41
Sam Roberts has pitched the idea of Jey Uso and Drew McIntyre crossing paths at WrestleMania 41. In 2024, Jey rose through the ranks as a singles superstar, winning his first singles title by capturing the Intercontinental Championship.
Meanwhile, McIntyre briefly held the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and was mostly involved in a feud with CM Punk. The two superstars crossed paths on three separate occasions, with McIntyre winning once and Punk winning twice.
Speaking on the NotSam Wrestling podcast, Roberts suggested the following idea:
"I think the idea might be that Sami Zayn takes us on a road that will get to one of the biggest villains in WWE, Drew McIntyre, versus one of the biggest heroes, one of the biggest good guys, one of the biggest babyfaces, Jey Uso. You talk about a test for Jey Uso as a main event good guy. Who is a better test than to have this rivalry with Drew McIntyre?"
Jey also linked up with his brother Jimmy Uso, reuniting The Usos for the first time in over a year. He then reunited with Roman Reigns and rejoined the Bloodline storyline.
The OG Bloodline trio lost to The Bloodline 2.0 at Crown Jewel. But at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event, the OG Bloodline and CM Punk defeated Solo Sikoa's Bloodline in the Men's WarGames Match.
