WWE Superstar Jey Uso is scheduled to face Gunther tonight on Monday Night RAW. Ahead of the much-anticipated contest, the former Bloodline member has sent a warning to The Ring General.
Uso defeated former NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov last week to advance to the next round of the ongoing King of the Ring tournament. Elsewhere on the show, Gunther grabbed a win against Kofi Kingston in his quarter-final bout. The winner of tonight's match will book his place in the final of the tournament scheduled to take place at the King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event.
WWE recently took to Instagram to share a reel featuring Jey Uso. The former Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion could be seen issuing a warning to his opponent while claiming he will win the King of the Ring Tournament:
"Just like next week, The Ring General Gunther Yeet Down. And then, I'mma get a new crown, where it's gonna go down, where I become the new King of the Ring, Yeet," he said.

WWE veteran picks Jey Uso as one of his favorites to win the King of the Ring Tournament
Jey Uso is one step away from qualifying for the final of the King of the Ring tournament after not being in the scheme of things initially. Interestingly, the 38-year-old replaced Drew McIntyre, who was not medically cleared to take the ring against Finn Balor in the first round.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo, Vince Russo picked Jey Uso and Carmelo Hayes as his favorites to become the King of the Ring. The former WWE head writer praised the two superstars before stating that the former NXT Champion would be a better pick. The 29-year-old, however, has been eliminated from the tournament following his loss to Randy Orton on the most recent edition of SmackDown:
"I got two choices, and I don't wanna put them in any particular order. Yeet [Jey Uso] is really getting over. This could put him over the top. But I am also looking at this, and as you know, putting on my booker hat, he doesn't need to win it.... The new kid [Carmelo Hayes]... Hayes. You wanna put a rocket under somebody bro. And you know bro, this guy is very really like Elix Skipper like, where he could be cocky, and you know, wear that banner and be able to cut good promos," he said.
Gunther and Jey Uso locked horns earlier this year in a match for the Intercontinental Championship. The two put forth a back-and-forth contest that ended with The Ring General retaining his title following interference from Jimmy Uso, setting up a brother vs brother contest for the Show of Shows.
