Drew McIntyre went on hiatus from the company for several weeks following his loss to CM Punk in a Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood. He returned on the December 2, 2024, episode of WWE RAW and attacked Jey Uso backstage before hitting Sami Zayn with a Claymore. The Scottish Warrior defeated Zayn at Saturday Night's Main Event last month and will be squaring off against Jey Uso next Monday night on WWE RAW.

Former WWE manager praises Jey Uso

Wrestling legend Dutch Mantell praised Jey Uso for his recent performance on WWE SmackDown.

The Usos reunited with Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn ahead of Survivor Series 2024 to reform the OG Bloodline. The group went on to defeat Solo Sikoa's version of The Bloodline in the Men's WarGames match at Survivor Series last November.

Speaking on Sportskeeda's Smack Talk show, Mantell praised Uso's promo work on the November 1, 2024 edition of the blue brand. The 39-year-old agreed to team up with Reigns if The Original Tribal Chief treated him as an equal, and Mantell claimed that the former champion stole the promo.

"He did a great job, I thought because; I missed a lot of the stuff (lately), and, really, I watched a lot of the stuff for the first time tonight, but he carried this whole segment. Roman is surprised he didn't say more than he said, but there was no need for him to say it. So that means he is helping these guys to get their rightful place, but it was solidified tonight by Roman Reigns," said Mantell.

Jey Uso had a brief reign as Intercontinental Champion last year before losing the title to Bron Breakker. It will be fascinating to see what WWE has planned for The Yeet Master moving forward.
