Joe Anoa'i and Roman Reigns are not exactly the same person, says WWE Superstar

The first time WWE fans got a glimpse of the man behind Roman Reigns on television was when he was forced to relinquish the Universal Championship in 2018 as he was battling cancer. He broke character, addressing himself as Joe in the promo, and informed fans that he would be taking time off.

Unlike Joe Anoa'i, who is a "regular guy," Roman Reigns has an "aura" that is unmatched, claims former United States Champion, social media influencer, and YouTube podcaster Logan Paul.

Speaking on Impaulsive, Logan Paul discussed the OTC, calling the latter and Cody Rhodes the top two guys of the wrestling industry today. He even joked about being fifth, stating that they have to retire for him to climb up the ranks. As for Reigns, Logan is impressed with his charisma:

"When you see him in person, it depends, whether he is Joe [Anoa'i] or if he is Roman Reigns. [...] Joe can turn that [aura] on and become Roman and it's really fascinating and cool, because he can be like a regular guy, or he can be the most bada** wrestler that ever lived. So I need them [Reigns and Rhodes] to retire so that I can become number one," Paul said. (1:07 onward)

Logan Paul has wrestled Roman Reigns once, at Crown Jewel in November 2022, where he unsuccessfully challenged the OTC for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

Roman Reigns' former rival-turned-tag-team-partner in WWE warns Logan Paul

WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker has praised Logan Paul numerous times for making noise and turning eyes to the Stamford-based wrestling promotion's product. However, the legend is unsure about The Maverick's willingness to always go for a high-risk move to break the internet.

Speaking on Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway, The Deadman discussed Logan's high-flying move set. He reminded the former US Champ that one wrong step and the latter's career could end just like that:

"If a foot slips? (...) When you're ready to launch and your foot slips off? You're helpless. There's nothing you can do," the legend stated before warning Paul and other stars. "If your foot slips while you're about to do that launch, dude? You're over you're done."

The Maverick was last seen at SummerSlam on August 3, where he lost the US Championship to LA Knight. The Megastar has since successfully defended the belt numerous times and appears to have moved on.
